Erin Stone and Hadley Recor are family lawyers in Atlanta, Georgia at Schulten Ward & Turner. They know first hand the ugly side of a celebrity divorce, having worked in all areas of family law and with many high profile cases. However, both attorneys agree it’s important for everyone to know the law remains the same whether you are a celebrity or not. With years of experience and training in divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, division of property and debt, contempt, and family violence proceedings, both Hadley and Erin have the background to provide you with important advice for your family law needs.

Erin began her private practice with Schulten Ward and Turner in 1996 with a general civil litigation practice that included some family law as well as business litigation, construction litigation, contract disputes, dissolution of partnerships, personal injury and other general litigation. As her practice grew, Erin decided to focus her practice exclusively on family law and upon becoming a partner in 2003, heads the Family Law Section of the firm. Erin is an experienced trial lawyer having participated as lead counsel in jury trials, bench trials and numerous hearings in Superior and State courts in the many counties of Metro Atlanta as well as in Savannah and Macon. Erin has also participated in cases in federal court in the Northern District of Georgia and Southern District of New York. Erin feels that in family law her courtroom experience is crucial because clients often need the assistance of the court in order to protect their safety and financial security. Erin is a trained mediator and is able to bring that training and insight to her own client settlement negotiations and mediations as well as serve as a mediator/neutral. Erin also offers her clients a network of relationships with professionals such as accountants, financial advisors, security experts and private investigators as well as a network of lawyers in other states and countries through the firm’s affiliation with Legal NetLink. Before coming to SWT, Erin served as a law clerk to honorable Joel J. Fryer, Fulton County Superior Court, Atlanta Judicial Circuit Court (June 1994 - December 1996). Erin is an Atlanta native. She grew up in Sandy Springs, graduated from Riverwood High School and now lives in Dunwoody with her husband and two children.

Hadley joined Schulten Ward & Turner as an Associate in 2003. She is a guardian ad litem for the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation. Hadley is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University and the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University. Prior to joining the firm, Hadley was an Assistant Vice President at Bank of America in their Asset Management Division and an Attorney for the Department of Family and Children Services. She is also an avid volunteer and has lived in the Atlanta area for over ten years. She and her husband live in the Chamblee area with their two dogs and cat.
