Adnan Ghalib Files Petition For Divorce
That’s right, someone actually married this guy. According to TMZ, Ghalib filed a joint petition for divorce from his wife, Azlynn Berry. Other sites have reported his wife filed for divorce within the past 10 days. Berry filed for a legal separation in January citing irreconcilable differences. The papers claim the couple were married in 2003 and Berry was seeking spousal support at that time.
Ghalib, a papparazzi photographer, became “famous” during his relationship to Britney Spears. He told Entertainment Tonight earlier this year he first met Spears in December during a car chase. According to Ghalib, the two started seeing each other immediately.
States differ in how long parties have to wait for a divorce to be granted. In Georgia, the shortest time you can be granted a divorce is 31 days after you have served the other party with the Petition For Divorce, provided they agree. If the other party does not agree to having the divorce granted in 31 days, the shortest time is 45 days after having served the other party.
