Brinkley-Cook Divorce Update
Peter Cook’s attorney plans to show the world a supermodel gone bad. Week two of this circus will begin with Cook’s attorney painting a picture of a bad mother. Allegedly, the court-appointed psychiatrist believes Brinkley has anger management issues, according to the Daily News. However, Brinkley’s attorney Robert Cohen, says the psychiatrist will also allegedly recommend Brinkley for sole primary custody.
The Cook team seems anxious to present their side of the story, and also plan to release emails sent from Brinkley that supposedly support she is trying to cut Cook out of his children’s lives.
Brinkley, who has been brutally punished in the tabloids for pushing for an open trial, spent her July 4th weekend with ex-Billy Joel and family. Obviously, she’s enjoying the success of Week One’s trial where Cook admitted his affair with a teenager and a porn fetish. Cohen intends to prove Peter Cook is a reckless father and does not deserve equal custody of the children. Whether Brinkley is seeking revenge or not, the court will have to decide if Cook is an unfit father, which is a high bar. In general, most judges are hard pressed to eliminate a parent completely from their child’s life, no matter how egregious their behavior during the marriage. But based on what we’ve heard so far it seems equally unlikely Cook will actually get equal custody.

You think Brinkley was enjoying all this? Probably as much as she enjoyed finding out her husband was having an affair with a teenager. Why didn’t you talk about the fact the report also said Cook was a narcissist??
You can work on anger issues and they don’t always have to define your personality, but you can never ever be anything but a narcissist. There is no cure.
