Costly Grazer Divorce In Works

Brian Grazer, co-founder of Imagine Entertainment, and his novelist-wife, Gigi Levangie-Grazer, are ending their nearly 10-year marriage and from the looks of court papers in the case, it will be costly.

According to TMZ, “Gigi is asking for nearly a million per month in child and spousal support ($988,184), including a grand per month for “furniture and appliance replacement” at their Hawaii house. She spends $7K for “fine art” every month … just for their NYC pad. But here’s the good news for Brian — she’s only asking for $42 a month to clean the New York pad.”

Levangie-Grazer is behind the hit series “The Starter Wife,” which chronicles the life of a former-wife of a top Hollywood studio executive. Sound familiar?

Brian Grazer is behind such hits as “The Da Vinci Code” and “A Beautiful Mind” and is currently working on the film “Frost/Nixon.”

It looks like this is yet another couple who got married without a prenuptial agreement. Although they may not have had the assets ten years ago that they have now, being in the business they should have known how things can turn around. Having the foresight to get a prenuptial agreement would have saved them both a lot of time and money.
