3. If you are going to rant and rave about something, do not do it on a voicemail;
4. Assume you are being recorded when ever you speak to the other parent;
5. Remember that you may not like the other parent any more, but your child will always love them and it is best for them if you can at least be cordial with each other;
6. Do not interfere with the other parents right to see the child – it is best for the child to have a relationship with both parents, whether you like the parent or not;
7. No matter how frustrated you get with the other parent don’t take it out on your child:
8. Conduct yourself as if the judge is always watching you.
9. Do not say anything in a phone call you wouldn’t want the judge to hear.
10. Keep the name calling to yourself.
