Two Celebrity Couples Split
According to People.com, two celebrity divorces are in the works. Marg Helgenberger and actor (and president of the Screen Actors Guild), Alan Rosenberg, have separated. The CSI star and her husband have been married for nineteen years and have an 18 year old son. Helgenberger’s representative released this statement today, “After 19 years of marriage, Marg and Alan have decided to take some time apart. They love and respect each other and remain committed to their family.”
Another couple, although not as surprising, also announced their separation today. Ivana Trump and her much younger husband, Rossano Rubicondi, have filed for legal separation. The couple were married in an elaborate ceremony at the Palm Beach resort of her former husband in April, but dated for six years prior. Trump stated in a statement, “Rossano wants to live in Miami and work in Milan, but, I am a New Yorker and my family, friends and businesses are here. As the beautiful song says, `Que sera sera!’” She also added she filed for a legal separation three months ago but did not go public over fear it would interfere with Rubicondi’s participation in an Italian Survivor.
